Job Objectives:
- Make sure customers are happy and taken care of
- Keep track of stock and pack medicine neatly
- Keep the pharmacy organized
- Mix medicine accurately
- Give advice on staying healthy
- Keep the store clean and products displayed nicely
- Help out with any other tasks as needed
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma with Math (Very important)
- Meet the requirements of the Health Professions Council of South Africa to be a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic, or Learner Basic)
Skills, Abilities and Job Related Knowledge:
- Know about health products and over-the-counter medicine
- Understand pharmacy laws and rules
- Be friendly and helpful to customers
- Work well with a team
- Be honest and do the right thing
- Be careful and pay attention to details
- Do basic math calculations
- Know how to use computer systems for business
- Be familiar with MS Office
