Transnet Corporate Centre and Academy is inviting recently qualified graduates in Internal Auditing or Accounting to apply for the Young Professional-in-Training Programme (Internal Audit). Programme Details
- Duration: 24 Months (Structured Programme)
- Accreditation: Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa (IIASA)
- Location: Various Transnet Operating Divisions
What You’ll Do
As a Young Professional-in-Training, you will:
- Work alongside experienced professionals across multiple business functions.
- Support audit teams with testing, documentation, and reporting.
- Gain hands-on exposure through meetings, workshops, and learning sessions.
- Assist in investigations and contribute to strengthening internal controls.
- Track and monitor reports for submission to governance forums.
- Represent Internal Audit in working groups and stakeholder engagements.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: National Diploma or BCom Degree in Internal Auditing / Accounting.
- Experience: 0–1 year (graduates welcome).
- Skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Eligibility: South African citizen, aged 18–35.
